I am a Colorado-based player (Mountain Standard Time is the best!) that currently works full-time as a software engineer (in the security automation sector) and has a full course load of classes. Which means I am busy, and am often trying to balance these with my attentions to the game. But please don't hesitate to page me on game; I am always up for chatting and arranging scenes or doing anything of the like! Most likely, I have read your character's latest logs, tbh, and be happy to get my own characters involved!
I have only been RPing in Pern-related things for the last few years. I come from a long history of superhero/sci-fi RP background, and I think while this offers me some interesting insight into how all this Pern stuff is, I might miss a lot of things that are Pern-specific habits or such. If anything I ever say or do is taken badly OOCly, please let me know! It is likely very not intentional, and I would always like the ability to correct my behavior in the future.
On that note, I do believe firmly in a line between IC vs OOC. My characters have sharp edges and will often be rude or abrasive, but that is not me at all. And I will certainly never take anyone's IC reaction to my characters in an OOC way.

C'ris is my puppy. He was created as a happy character to get away from my brooding R'oan and my stressy Lilah at the time. He was also a way to get involved in an exciting clutch at HRW. I still love him and his stupid face.
R'oan was created basically because I wanted to participate in flight RP, tbh. He's basically the opposite of C'ris at this point. (Though they are both unambitious losers.) He wass sometimes evocative, but mostly drunk and selfish. Unfortunately, he is now deceased, having died in the plague of turn 39 when it swept through Fort Weyr.
Lilah was created with a bunch of ideas thrown at her that stuck. As a goldrider, I think she added something fun and she would have made a very interesting Weyrwoman, but my real life spiked in a horrible way and ate me. So unfortunately, she is now deceased, having died trying to keep timing it to get her dragon to rise.
