Description

Standing at six feet even, L'sha is growing out of his lanky adolescent phase, lean muscle beginning to show on his frame after the long chore-filled Candidate period. Gone is the mop of hair he once had, his dark auburn hair is now close-cropped on the top in the style of a fresh new weyrling, shorn nearly to the scalp on the sides. His slightly long aquiline nose and high cheekbones suggest inheritance from his mother, his features more delicate than masculine. His thin lips are often quirked in a cheerful smile, suggesting a friendly demeanor.

L'sha wears typical weyrling attire, a heavy tan wherhide jacket over an off-white llama hair sweater, tough work clothes for cold weather. Close-fitting but comfortable-looking brown wherhide breeches accentuate the skinniness of his legs with rugged black workboots on his feet. A weyrling knot is looped over his shoulder, interwoven with a green cord for his lifemate. L'sha looks to be about 16 turns, 6 months, 9 days old.

No one was more surprised than greenrider L'drel when he found himself with a pregnant bluerider weyrmate. Or to have a woman as a weyrmate at all, for that matter. Such is the way of things in a Weyr, though and it wasn't long after that L'sha was born. L'drel and Shana became loving parents to the boy until it was time to turn him over to the foster parents of the weyr. They both moved on to other mates, but always remained as close as they could to their son. L'sha completed his schooling, then became a fixture around the weyr, doing whatever chores and odd jobs that were required of him. He always seems quick with a cheerful smile or a laugh - when he's not hard at work, that is. Recently, a new weyrling knot can be seen on his shoulder, something of which he's inordinately proud.
