Furry Furey Egg
Raving waves of rich, mottled klah brown and showy, snowy white race across the face of this egg. Slight variations in color give the illusion of a tempest of movement. Along with flickers of light from the hatching cavern they bring the egg to life with a multitude of twists and ripples. It's a positively brilliant show of furious furriness.
Clutch Pose: After having formed the perfect hollow on the sands, Jenryth settles down and waits for a time. Minutes pass by and then more. Just when one might start to think that today is, perhaps, not the day after all, she rises, hisses, and produces the first egg of the clutch.

Cheery Cherry Egg
Nestled down into the sand so that only the rounded bottom shows, this egg looks like a cheerful red berry. The shiny surface gleams and reflects the light of the cavern. A small star of luminescent white glimmers near the top of the ovoid, giving the illusion of a perfectly smooth, gleaming surface.
Clutch Pose: Jenryth now moves to one side and digs an actual hole, clawing the hot sand out of the way and then lowering her bulk over the hollow. This egg seems particularly stubborn, or perhaps just particularly content where it is - there's a lengthy wait before it shows itself.

Ista Vista Egg
The glittering black sands of Ista lay in splotches about this egg, mixing liberally with the shimmering white sands of the southern beaches. Around all of these patches and splotches are the goldish tan sands of the northern beaches, casting flashes and sparkles about. The colors fade into one another as if the sands have been shivering, slowly coming together in a harmonious blend of light and dark.
Clutch Pose: Sand is shifted over the second egg until Jenryth is satisfied, and only then does she half curl and lay the next egg upon the sands.

Psycho Psychic Egg
Swirls and twirls of brightness, from the flashiest yellow to the brightest pink, all curl over the shell of this egg, gaudy enough to stand out not only from the sands but from the other eggs as well. The whorls are interspersed with calming whites and silvers, like smoky incense in a gather tent as someone tries to read your palm, though the flamboyant color is distracting enough to drive anyone crazy.
Clutch Pose: The oaken gold takes a long look around the sands, taking in everything from the gallery to Corineth before she digs her snout into the sand and creates a new indentation to which is added another egg.

Blue Flue Egg
Unusual from the start, this egg does not have the typical shape of a draconic egg. Instead, it is oblong with somewhat of a flatter bottom than the norm. However, the shape does not detract from the colors and feel of the egg. The egg is a gradient of blues that range from a dark smokey blue at the bottom to a lighter mist blue at the top. The colors merge and swirl, creating a wispy look as if smoke rising through a fireplace flue until it escapes into the sky above.
Clutch Pose: Jenryth waddles around some, settling in one spot, then rising and moving to another when the first proves not to her liking. After a few minutes of this she picks a place to be honored with the next egg.

Bald Bawled Egg
The apex of this egg is so clean and shiny it is reminiscent of a bald man's pate, freshly scrubbed. Though as one's gaze traverses its rotundity, large blue droplets in the shapes of tears gain in frequency until the base is surrounded a by veritable soft blue lake.
Clutch Pose: With a rumbling that sounds vaguely like a moment of discomfiture, Jenryth brings forth a new egg to add to the clutch.

Plum Plume Egg
Against a background of pale lavender, a magnificent plum colored plume is displayed for all to see. Straight out of a Lady Holder's boudoir, the dark, midnight purple veins highlight the deep, delightfully plumy purple plume. The paler purple of the greater surface is shiny, like a plump sisal pillow. Nestled at the bottom of the feather-like feature is a creature, a dot not unlike a tiny ruby trundlebug.
Clutch Pose: Jenryth pads over the sands, checking and rechecking previously buried eggs - pausing only to add another to the clutch.

Needs Kneads Egg
A lumpy mess, this egg almost blends in with the sand that surrounds it, shaded through with the yellowish, brown-flicked hue of bread dough. Though it's been laid, it looks as if it could use some additional work-a roll in the flour here, a punch down there, and certainly some reshaping before it's put into the oven to finish baking.
Clutch Pose: Quiet, so very quiet, and yet it's not an empty silence but rather a peaceful one. Jenryth brings forth another egg without disturbing the moment of solitude that wraps the hatching grounds.

Switchy Stitchy Egg
Rushes of bold gold are bundled together against the pitch black surface of this egg. Like a broom propped against a wall, the switches of straw are angled to sweep through the sand at a moment's notice. Around the center of the egg, stitches of coppery green outline the girth, disappearing under the broom of switches and emerging again on the other side of the egg.
Clutch Pose: Jenryth inspects a new egg with careful, loving attention before she rolls it forward to join the others in the clutch.

Slack Black Egg
Of smaller size and rounder shape, this egg is very visible against the sands of the 'Reachian Hatching Grounds. Unfortunately, that is all of the positive things one can say about it. There is no variety in coloring nor excitement of hue. It is black. Just matte black even. The egg seems to lack in finish or completeness. It seems to be a very slack piece of work but isn't there a saying not to judge a hide by its cover? Perhaps the dull egg hides a jewel.
Clutch Pose: Looking extraordinarily pleased with herself Jenryth rolls a dark hued egg forward and places it -just so- next to a motley colored clutchsib.

J'mian (Jeremian) and blue Arenloth
The mottled swirls of snow white and klah brown shiver expectantly as the Furry Furey Egg comes to life. Perhaps indicative of the life within, the egg's occupant seems lazy in its desire to leave as it weaves back and forth in the depression of sand it was left in. Back and forth it wobbles until the continuous movement finally causes the egg to shatter unceremoniously. The fact that its housing has disappeared doesn't stop the silver-dusted, luminescent blue from bounding off with the precise gait of absolute conviction. Jeremian, a sandy haired boy from Tillek, finally exhales the breath he'd been keeping, into an exuberant, "Arneloth, you're absolutely perfect!"
Priya and green Esrieth
Due to powerful shifts, it almost seems like the glittering black sands are being obscured by the golden grains of the Reachian hatching grounds, as it burrows itself further down. The harmonious blend of the Ista Vista Egg comes to an end as the shell flakes off in the half-buried state it's gotten into, and a discomforted looking green's neck seems to jut upward. Of a pale spring shade, the young green squirms herself up and out of the hatching grounds and frolics in circles, as if chasing her tail, and then plants herself, with a skid of sand flaring up, in front of a broad older woman. "You," Priya's faint wince dies in light of the voice in her head, "Are going to be trouble, aren't you, Esrieth?"
Bristia and green Saindyth
The gradient of blues and smokiness seems to pulsate, the illusion drawn from the heat of the sands rising and the consistent movement that seems to tremble the oblong-shaped egg. After a long pause where little movement is discernible from the cheerful egg, a sudden torrent of spastic shifts sends cracks down its mist-sprayed surface until strips of shell shatter to the ground to reveal a deep, midnight green just ready for action. Her slow slink turns into a fast-paced trot, and as she moves past a row of candidates a triumphant bugle sounds when she stops in front of a lanky, ruddy-haired girl, Bristia. With eyes-wide, the former harper gets one tearfully spoken name out, "Saindyth!" before being led off the sands.
Former seacrafter boy and small blue
One leg appears out of the bottom of the Plum Plume Egg with a sharp crack. There is a moment where the egg actually gets up and hops a few feet forward on that one foot before toppling over and rolling once. This sends shards of egg flying everywhere and in the end a small little blue standing in the midst of the ruined egg. He hops once then strings together a quick few steps that turn into a stumbling charge that ends with a nose dive into the sand right at the feet of a young man whose apprenticeship in the seacraft must be set aside for his new duties as a weyrling.
Weaver resident boy and thin green
Ripples run through the surface of the Needs Kneads egg, creating fine little craps as the surface shifts and wavers. Finally the structure of the egg can't take the pressures within and a large section breaks off, leaving a shell bowl containing a deep forest green within. This little green steps out of that bowl with a touch of grace in her movements already, as she makes her way down amongst the candidates, eyeing and sniffing at a number of them before choosing a young lad raised at weaver hall in the well fitting robe.
Nabolese girl and green
The Bald Bawled Egg shudders for a few moments before a bright green head breaks its way threw the top and as the rest of the bright green body follows the egg is split in half and left behind. The cheerful green seems to prance out amongst the candidates, looping around one small group of them three times before it settles on a redhead that was found from the kitchens at Nabol Hold, the dragon resting its head against her as the young woman weeps in happiness.
