As a young teen, S'varis probably looked weedy, but since he's grown up, he's filled out, and now could be considered really quite attractive. Dark, walnut-brown hair curls loosely around his face, which is overfilled with green eyes and a quirked smile. Viondeth is a sandy bronze, long and lean for his colour. Sevaris grew up at High Reaches Weyr, and worked in the lower caverns until his Impression at 18. Quietly ambitious, he was terribly pleased to Impress bronze, and worked hard during weyrlinghood, joining the silver thread program. Early on, he was good friends with former guard F'reln, but that friendship took a turn for the worst after a challenge issued by the pair nearly got him killed (http://hrweyr.net/Logs:Who's_Up_For_The_Challenge?). %r%rAfter graduation, S'varis joined Boreal Wing and was eventually promoted to Wingsecond. It was under his Wingleader's direction that he reached out to Teris, his clutchmate and a childhood acquaintance, in the hopes of drawing her back to replace the two High Reaches 'seniors' in Turn 30. Caught out by Jo and Z'ian, S'varis and his Wingleader lost their positions; he is now in disgrace.

Average height, average build, average brown hair; Ch'vaz has generic enough looks, the kind that find him blending in rather than standing out. %r%rThe third of four children born to a pair of High Reaches Weyr residents, Charlavaz was the only son, and thoroughly doted upon as a result. Both because of the attentions of his parents and his own, innate talents, he was the kind of boy many people assumed would do ''something'' interesting. He was, after all, naturally good at a lot of things, friendly and pleasant with other people, and if he lost his temper and had tantrums as a child... well. He'd grow out of that, surely. %r%rHe ''could'' have stood for Rielsath and Malsaeth's clutch in turn 17, but chose not to; instead, he joined the Woodcraft and travelled to Lemos to make beautiful furniture and useful household objects. It should have been a straight path from there: promotion at a relatively young age, a family, success. Instead, Charlie found himself struggling, feeling out of place and unhappy despite enjoying the work. %r%rAt twenty - still a ways off walking the tables by his own estimation - he was given something of a reprieve... if one could call it that. His mother was diagnosed with a wasting disease, and Charlie returned home to be with her, putting his apprenticeship aside (with the permission of his masters) for as long as it took. She died the following turn, but Charlie elected to stay on just a little longer-- and in the end, a lot longer. Although he ''had'' intended to go back eventually, when Iovniath rose for the third time, and the exiles started being picked up as candidates, he found himself pressured to take his turn on the sands. High Reaches dragons, after all, needed to be protected from exile riders. %r%rAgreeing to Stand was a good decision, in the end. He Impressed the second bronze of the clutch, Hiyanoth - a mustardy-bronze creature with a very definite mind of his own. They were chosen as the first weyrling wingleader, joined the silver thread program, and seemed set for a solid career; no doubt they would rise through the ranks. %r%rFor whatever reason, however, they didn't. Instead, Ch'vaz and Hiyanoth spent the next decade and more mostly blending in. They were good, solid wingriders for Equinox, but were passed over for wingsecond twice. Nor has Hiyanoth caught a queen, though if this causes either consternation, they're not quick to show it. %r%rIn his personal life, Ch'vaz has had a handful of relationships over the turns, including one, with a Telgar greenrider, that lasted a full five turns, ending during the plague of turn twenty-nine (but not due to death).

She has red-brown hair that naturally curls to her shoulders, though she's cut it short since her Impression; it sets off the chestnut brown of her eyes to good advantage. Shavaeth is a pale, spring green in colour, large for a green. Larinel and Brandos grew up together; their mothers were best friends, their fathers vaguely tolerant of each other. They had playdates together well before 'play' was actually a word that could be used to describe either of them. That didn't mean they didn't fight: indeed, the pair barely got along in childhood, and in their early teens. Once out of harper lessons, Larinel started working in the kitchens, and might have been content to pretend Brandos didn't exist forever, were it not for both of them being searched for Iovniath's second clutch. %r%rLarinel managed to avoid her childhood playmate for most of candidacy, and certainly, she stood on the opposite side of the sands to him during the hatching. Edeline is a slight woman, slim-statured and lightly built. Here is one who has embraced the breeding and grooming that the life of the privileged requires, a fact well evident in her appearance and modulated voice. Daughter of Lord Drehfti and Lady Lindony of Tillek Hold, both deceased. Her mother died shortly after Edeline's birth, and her father died at the Tillekian Brewfest in turn 17 after a fall down the stairs. The oldest child of the true Tillekian bloodline, she often quarreled, openly, with her stepmother and stepbrother, a fact exacerbated by the issue that she was never confirmed as her father's heir. Presumably, this is because she was younger than Nederan, unmarried, and a girl-child to boot. She disappeared for a number of days after her father's death, eventually surfacing after living in her cousin's cothold near Tillek, then relocating to High Reaches Weyr, seeking "asylum," while Ysave and Nederan ran Tillek without the Conclave's confirmation. %r%rShe arranged her own marriage to Potipher in Turn 18, which spurred Nederan to reach out to her about retiring his so-called rulership of Tillek. In the summer of Turn 18, pregnant, she and Nederan had the lynch pin for him to give Tillek back to her. In month 9, he left for a seahold given to him as part of the deal for him to leave, and she and Potipher were confirmed as Lord and Lady Tillek in month 10. Their son, Thedrin, was born in the spring of Turn 19. %r%RFor some turns, Edeline and Potipher were the picture of a perfect couple, co-parenting his daughters and their own son. Alas, tragedy struck in Turn 27, when Thedrin went missing-- eventually to be confirmed as deceased when the decomposing body of a young child was found in a shipwreck in early Turn 28. Blame fell on the Weyr, for failing to recover him. As Wingsecond, he downplayed the role of "Weyrsecond," preferring instead of focus his attention solely on his Wing. After Satiet's death and N'thei's resignation, he stepped into the role of Acting Weyrleader and Glacier's Wingleader. F'rint's personality is bland, dry even. He's a bad poker player, as he has no capacity for deceit and can't bluff his way out of a wet paper bag, but he still enjoys the game. He has no vanity and no fashion sense, but he's proud and determined and impeccable about following orders. Pleasant-tempered but stern, father of four in the lower caverns, neither weyrmated nor long-term involved, he hasn't sought rank. It just found him.

Fair and slim, Ysave remains attractive even into her mid-life. Her blond hair is threaded with gray now, and there are crow's feet at the corner of her blue eyes, but she stands a slender 5'10" with poise and confidence in her demeanor. The youngest daughter from a wealthy seahold a day's ride from Tillek, Ysave would have been a perfect Lord's wife had her father's fortunes not fallen just before she was ready to be betrothed. Unfortunately, when the seahold was struck by a major storm the season before she debuted, she was stuck accepting what proposals came and married into a wealthy-enough family. At nineteen, she bore her first son, Nederan. At twenty-two, she was widowed. When Lord Tillek's first wife passed away that same turn, Ysave moved to Tillek and essentially courted the widowed Lord Drehfti, who married her within the turn of his wife's death. His own daughter, Edeline, was still an infant and was given to Ysave to raise. Though the woman cared little for raising another woman's daughter, she brought the child up alongside her son, consistently pushing Lord Drehfti to acknowledge the boy more than the girl. After becoming Lady Tillek, she has bore two more daughters. When Drehfti died in Turn 17, she pushed Nederan to assume the role of Lord, alienating Edeline from her right to follow her father. She might have gotten her wish had Nederan had his mother's ambition, but... When Edeline and her husband returned to Tillek in Turn 18, when she was confirmed pregnant, Nederan retired his rulership to his step-sister and took over a small, wealthy seahold. Furious but impotent to retaliate, Ysave retired with her son, her two daughters, and his family.

Fair skinned, blue eyed and blonde haired, Urda is pretty enough in a girl-next-door kind of way. She's on the short side of average, if only barely, and while not quite pudgy, is certainly not svelte, either. Urda hails from the High Reaches Hold area; her family is very distantly related to the Lord, though they've never made much of it. She was brought in to the weyr on search for Iovniath and Cadejoth's first clutch only a couple of days before the hatching, and had very little time to get used to it before she ended up being chosen almost immediately by sky blue Branarath. She and her clutchmate P'lask became instant friends during weyrlinghood, and although she may have been interested in a more romantic relationship, she wasn't too concerned when his interests turned elsewhere. For those on the island:%r%r* Devaki is Blooded. He was also one of the more outspoken about not forgetting their history, and their exile. He was known to be very familiar with the ancestry of the Bloods, and it was known that the elders often approached him before approving a match, to determine how closely related potential matches might be. This used to be a task his father would perform, before he died during the erratic threadfalls.%r%r* In terms of his contribution to the islands, Devaki was one of the regular fishers. He was one of the few who knew the cave system very, very well -- though that's not common knowledge.%r%r* Devaki's grandfather, Viremi, though mostly retired in his role as a mindhealer, still served on the council of elders.%r%r* During the rescue, his sister Kiami died of sickness, and his grandfather Viremi remained in the infimary for some time, weakened and ill, before finally sucumbing early in the winter of Turn 29. %r%r For those from the mainland:%r%r* Both Devaki's parents are dead, though he has two younger sisters, Evali, who impressed a green at High Reaches Weyr, and Kiami, who died in the plague shortly after their arrival at the Weyr. Devaki was very vocal amongst the islanders and Weyrfolk about his intention to see the Blood claims of the exiles recognized.%r%r* Along with Raum, Devaki went missing from the Weyr during Turn 26, shortly after the death of the former exile Seani. His whereabouts were unknown until he showed up at High Reaches Hold during Turn 28, where his engagement to the Lady Issedi of High Reaches Hold was announced. The new Lord Holder Braeden also acknowledged the Blood rights of the exiles, something that is undoubtedly attributed to Devaki's influence. It was made known that all former islanders were welcome at High Reaches Hold, and that arrangements would be made to support them.%r%r* He and Issedi were married in the middle of Turn 29, and had a son, Vinien, early in Turn 30.
