Those hopes, however, are utterly disappointed. If anything, since Impression, G'laer has becomes more silent and introspective. He prefers, it seems, the solitary company of Teisyth to spending time with the other weyrlings. When he is out and about, it's because ''Teisyth'' wants to be. He'd been heard to say just after the hatching that Teisyth was supposed to be bronze (something the green evidently found hilarious). He doesn't seem to be talking much beyond when he needs to, not even to his sister (not that they seem terribly close). For all of that though, he's probably one of the more obedient weyrlings, doing as he's told without questioning it. Teisyth... well, she's ''fairly'' obedient, although she did discover how funny it is when the WLMs come running when she creels like she's hungry or hurt or whatever; so that was entertaining to her in the first few days. She meant no harm, but even with explanation as to why that's not okay, she still thinks it's funny. G'laer, like others, has been having very wakeful nights between feedings and oilings (both of which he tries to anticipate, though Teis isn't helpful to that aim), and for another bedtime story or a cuddle or a drink of water or a-- ...
