Contents
Group Roleplay
- Dragons (only) flying in pairs.
- Dragon races (under weyrlingmaster supervision) from the ground to the top of the spires and back.
Vignette Options
- Write a vignette in which your dragon discovers something he finds distasteful or disappointing about you and must come to terms with that.
- How has the world around you changed since Impressing? (Rather than the previous month's of how you've changed.) What opportunities are now open to you and what venues are closed?
- Write a vignette regarding one of the off-camera lectures listed below.
Off-Camera Lectures
- Weyrlingmaster: First unmanned flight.
- Weyrlingmaster: Ground drills for riders and dragons.
- Leatherworkers: Care of protective flight gear.
- Weavers: Measurements and fittings for flight gear.
- Weavers: Receiving finished flight gear.
Individual Roleplay Ideas
- Get to know your fellow weyrlings and their dragons better.
- Discuss the political atmosphere of the Weyr with others: are the Weyrleaders doing a good job? How do you feel about current events, such as dragonriders being requested to help farm, or the Weyr getting involved in Hold politics?
- Have your dragon practice his unmanned flying.
- Study for ground drills.
- Approach your weyrling wingleader or wingsecond for advice.
Mentor Roleplay Ideas
- Take your mentee up to the Star Stones or the Rim.
- Carry your mentee rider on sweeps or drills with you, aboard your dragon.
- Have your dragons go flying together around the bowl.
