What: R'uen startles Paige in the storage caverns. She's putting together a basket for Paddy; he's in the process of getting loads of socks back up to his weyr. Dragons and weyrlings, among other things, are talked of.

What: Tiasheth's bath gets delayed in favor of helping weyrbrats make sandcastles. Paige meets harper Wesley and chats about children.

What: A'riste, D'kai and Paige head to the feeding grounds on an afternoon, dragons in tow. Imirath decides to demonstrate to Tiasheth how to inspire the most fear into a herdbeast. What results inspires fear, all right - and not just into the herdbeast.

2008.07.30: Never Been Personal

What: Paige uses her break in the afternoon to grab a quick bath and a snack. Nerine joins and the two chat briefly with Paddy about differences in meshing with their dragons. Later, the talk turns more personal; both girls discuss a bit about proddiness and an intimacy with someone that they just aren't ready for.

2008.07.29: Bubble Baths

What: With the lake sufficiently melted, several weyrlings bring their dragons down to the lake to bathe. Tiasheth figures out how to blow bubbles and teaches Mikhuth; Paige learns of Imirath's subtle corruptions.
