Group Roleplay

• Betweening to other areas in groups of two or three after your first betweening lesson.
• Between Hide'n Seek (please ask a weyrlingmaster if you wish to play this on camera).

Vignette Options

• How do you feel about the prospect of between? Scared, excited, worried for your friends, taking bets on who the weyrlingmaster will kill off this time?
• Visit family or friends who live far away.
• Swing by the Weaver Hall to pick up some new rider-worthy duds.
• Write a vignette regarding one of the off-camera lectures listed below.

Off-Camera Lectures

• Weyrlingmaster: Continued aerial drills with firestone sacks.
• Weyrlingmasters: Visit area Holds and Crafts, meet personages of importance.
• Weyrlingmaster: Between lectures daily before the practical.
• Weyrlingmaster: Between to familiar locations.
• Weyrlingmaster: Between to unfamiliar locations on errands.

Individual Roleplay Ideas

• Sometimes mentors need some loving back; they might appreciate a small token or appreciation that you, or a group of your friends can go off in search of. There's rumors the Weyrleaders and wingleaders will sit in on classes at some point to observe how well you've absorbed your knowledge and maybe, frighteningly enough, ask questions. Better get prepared!
• Go visiting, or on delivery duty. Make a new friend at another Weyr.

Mentor Roleplay Ideas

• What's life like after graduating? How exciting or monotonous does it get really?
• Take your weyrling some place that you particularly love: This would be a good out-of-weyr experience for weyrlings. Considering it's HRW, it should spawn a lot of visits to the various bars of Pern.
• Introduce your weyrling to someone outside the weyr: This can be an NPC that you create or (better still!) a PC that you know from another area. Try to make sure it's someone your weyrling would actually have a reason to interact with- don't put wallflower-weyrling with wallflower-friend and expect them to have a brilliant conversation.
