J'vain is a lanky, balding man whose remaining hair is mostly a rumpled strawberry blond. He's of medium height at 5'9" and has light eyes, skin that would be light except for its tan, and a definite sense of humor. Oh, and he only has one arm. Thanks, Thread!
Quarizath used to be a particularly glowing shade of pale blue, but since the injury to his rider and the long rehabilitation thereafter, has grayed into a blued pewter. He's of medium size for his hue and has scars down both flanks as well as more minor nicks and dings.
If a HRW AWLM can be called a pushover, J'vain is it. (Of course, he's also played by Kiefer Sutherland, so there are limits.)
Born and raised at HRW, he was an older candidate when he Impressed Quarizath from Xemyth and Zerth's clutch. As for the blue himself, Quarizath doesn't hang out with weyrlings much (they're so jumpy!) except at his rider's request.
