| − | At the end of month two, D'kan may have been fraying, but the duration of month three saw gradual improvement. Why the fraying? If he told anyone, it was Kazavoth, and Kaz hasn't shared. When not in history or weyrling lessons, the pair largely kept to themselves. When asked about the pending assignments of silver threads, D'kan would have largely shrugged it off, not terribly interested in the extra work. When pressed, he might have shared just ''why'' he wasn't interested, and it had nothing to do with the additional classes or expectations.

She's a difficult dragon to keep in check in the early part of month three with the knowledge that they're only ''weeks'' away from getting to use their wings. She's enthusiastic about the drills that strengthen wings, even if she's sore at the end of the day. Lys is good about rubbing her down, and that helps, she'll tell anyone who'll listen. Aside from the fact that Lys is wearing gloves and a mask after her visit to C'ris, and taking lengthy soaks in the bathes when time affords the opportunity, Lys has been fairly invisible. She's working hard at her classes, but she's never the best, but nor is she the worst. She's managed (better) to keep from challenging the instructors much, though if there's a legitimate question to be asked, she'll surely do it. That the plague is going on doesn't seem to have affected her much and she keeps her distance from any who've gotten weepy over it (though Evyth is always willing to be a listening ear for any dragon having a rough time. |

| − | Surprising to some, E'sren has become quite the scholar. With little access to books on the road, or at least to books more substantial than basic lessons and stories, he has become totally obsessed with reading since having to do so much of it for exams. Which he passed with flying colors, turns out, except he had to take math one more time to scrape by with a medium passing grade. He's been demonstrating this knack for retaining a lot of information, he's able to quote books and recall facts as if he only just read them.

Some of the observant might have noticed K'zin having more than one drink when he oughtn't.

| − | Then there was the ''incident''. The one at the lake ([[Logs: Bathing Bedlam]]) on day 11. Everything seemed to change after that. He was in the infirmary two days and on light duty for another three until his various injuries (most notably his broken nose) had healed enough to get back into regular action. Rumor tells that he broke the rules and lost all his privileges indefinitely. He's been since seen keeping to only public areas or accompanied by one of the weyrlingmaster's dragons when he has to go off to do something on his own (most notably his extra hunting trips with the horrible hunter Rasavyth at lunchtime). He threw himself into all weyrlinghood has to offer with renewed vigor. He's almost never seen without a book or a good bit of sweat, spending his free hours studying or doing extra exercise. He's still working on that game in the training cavern as time allows, he's hoping for it to be ready by next month to help those in remedial classes test out.

| − | One very notable change since day 11 is that Rasavyth has been his near-constant companion. Where other dragons were clingy at birth, Rasavyth never was. He's not particularly touchy-feely with his rider even now, but when K'zin is awake, they are almost always together, both actively engaged in the task at hand, whether it's studying or exercising or whatever else.

| − | Rasavyth, for his part, has not been excelling with the physical tasks of being a dragon; almost as if those tasks don't come naturally to him the way so many mental things do. He does try quite hard, but in the mornings when all the weyrlings feed, he'll take advantage of the good hunters to scare up his own meal, hence the extra trips on his own to make him learn to do it all himself. With gliding, too, he's not been the best. He does steadily improve (in small ways) from session to session with the gliding, the hunting, it seems, is harder for him to make progress with.

| − | Month three has, so far, been the least eventful for N'ky and Cailluneth. She's growing, he's stuttering less - apart from when emotions are high, of course. Nerves, excitement, panic and so on all bring it back full-force. In general conversation with most weyrlings though, he's comfortable enough to be more himself. With all of his catch-up work, Harper classes and other things on top of his weyrling duties, he's been busy enough to actually start sleeping through most nights due to pure exhaustion. Things have fluctuated with K'zin as they have since Impression, and N'ky's even had a couple of frazzled moments when he's just felt absolutely overwhelmed by everything happening, and by his want to make everyone happy. Slowly-slowly, he's learning to be just a little bit selfish by putting himself first - well, after Cailluneth, of course.

| − | Cailluneth proved herself to be a fierce, successful hunter, having made her first kill under the supervision of Hraedhyth. She's got a habit of pinning a herdbeast down and latching onto its neck to bleed it out, and she's been wearing a good few bruises from flailing hooves as a trophy of her kills. When she's hunting, any dragon who's tried to reach her will find her mind very different to normal: it's wild, somewhat animalistic, driven by bloodlust and the thrill of hunting. Now that she's taller than the herdbeasts it's not ''quite'' as much of a game to bring them down as it was before, but she still likes to whip her food into a frenzy before leaping for the kill.

N'ky still tends to stick only to the places where Cailluneth can be with him, which means he's only indoors when she's asleep, or when he absolutely has to be - and in the latter case, he's often distracted as he keeps in mental touch with her. They're still very touchy-touchy, and when together they're nearly always in contact.
