Description
Background
Kiyora's grandparents were active rebels against Lord Beradin, minor holdfolk who put themselves in the thick of things - young, excitable blood ready to fight for a cause. They were exiled along with the rest, barely twenty turns old; eventually their children came along, and after a time Kiyora. She was raised hearing stories of greedy Holders, traitor dragonriders, all a bitter undercurrent of her life on the island. Taking them to heart as a child, Kiyora grew to see them more as cautionary tales into her adulthood, though even time hasn't been able to erase the 'fables' from her mind. She's fully committed to life on the island, having done her fair share of work along the way and not retired by any means. Kiyora can be seen up and around as much as possible. She fishes, does repairs, tends to children and elders alike. Community is everything to her these days, with no children of her own.
