He seems genuinely friendly and easy-going, curious about all sorts of things -- which hasn't always been received well -- but he is a harper, after all.

After the plague of Turn 39, his sister Gisele (sometimes called Gizzy), arrived at High Reaches, and was working as a seamstress until the end of the Turn when she travelled to become a candidate at Fort, despite turning twenty-seven. |}
