A Journeyman Harper, Quintus was posted to High Reaches Weyr in month 11, turn 38.
He brought a couple of senior apprentices along with him, Alysce and Ryneton.
His focus is primarily teaching, though he has a penchant for composing; mostly short-lived ditties that never make it to any permanent record.
He seems genuinely friendly and easy-going, curious about all sorts of things -- which hasn't always been received well -- but he is a harper, after all.
After the plague of Turn 39, his sister Gisele (sometimes called Gizzy), arrived at High Reaches, and was working as a seamstress until the end of the Turn when she travelled to become a candidate at Fort, despite turning twenty-seven.
Background
When he was young and stupid, he did a stupid thing. Being a mere boy, his older brother looked out for him -- as he always had -- and took the fall.
Losing his brother meant more than just guilt -- it meant having to take responsibility for himself, for the first time. Sometimes he fared badly, and sometimes well, but he learnt, as all boys did, and became a man.
That man became a harper, and a teacher.
But the man never forgot the boy.
Nor did he forget his debt.
