D'leri is gawky at 5'11", with blond hair, freckles, and a strong nose and chin belied by watery blue eyes.
Driggath is muscular but clumsy, with a long tail, and is a grayed shade of medium blue.
Born and raised at Nabol Hold, the son of one of its assistant stewards, D'leri is more comfortable with rocks and sheep than he is with people and dragons. He was one of the last candidates Searched for Rielsath and Malsaeth's first clutch, and Impressed his just as feckless blue Driggath in Rielsath and Malsaeth's first clutch. As a weyrling, he means well, tries hard, even follows instructions, but in general is at the bottom of the food chain. He follows after Briora, since she's from Nabol, but the girl has little to do with him. His best friend is Jarkel, one of the candidates who didn't Impress but stayed on in the lower caverns.
