Eight months after the assassination of Iolene and Ysavaeth, both of High Reaches' remaining juniors rose at the same time, albeit at opposite ends of the planet. In the resultant mess, two browns won the two flights, leaving High Reaches in the unheard of position of having two Weyrwomen... and two brownriding Weyrleaders. One of whom was a woman.
