Description
Long brown hair frames the oval face of this young woman, glinting red when the sunlight hits it just so. Her features are soft and high cheekbones are paired with softly arching brows. Her nose is small but seems the perfect fit for her petite build, but it is the eyes that truly stand out. Large and brown, her gaze always seems just the slightest bit misty as if she could cry at the drop of her pin. Yuzuyu's lips are full and pink, curling upwards at the edge in an almost feline-like fashion. All in all, she really does seem to give off the vibe of a young kitten. The woman's build is certainly slight, and there seems to be surprisingly little muscle on her. Of course, looks are deceptive and if one looks close enough they will see that she's actually quite toned. All in all, Yuzuyu seems to be quiet and has a rather gentle appearance.
Her usual attire consists of either a long skirt as well as a loosely fitting shirt, all of which are pastel in color. Upon her shoulder is the knot of a Journeyman Harper.
WYSK
Yuzuyu is a new face at High Reaches Weyr, and the Journeyman's knot on her shoulder is also extremely new. She's just arrived from Harper Hall and told to begin standing on her own two feet. The girl is timid really, but like some get a runner's high...she get's a performance high. Once that adrenaline is running through her veins, there's really no telling what might happen. Beware the innocent little harper, beware!
History
Yuzuyu was the youngest of three children to a pair of Master Harpers. Though her siblings found their callings to be elsewhere, the girl grew up in the shadows of her parents. It was at an early age that they discovered her talents, and she has been practicing since then. Singing, dancing, the playing of instruments....everything she did seemed to make an impact on those she performed in front of. Despite her ability to get a crowd going and the natural charisma she possessed on stage, Yuzuyu was not nearly so suave otherwise. Her tendency toward shyness was apparent at an early age, and her friends come to a grand total of four (her two siblings and her parents).
After earning her Journeyman knot, Yuzuyu was sent off to High Reaches Weyr. Her mentor thought she'd had quite enough time to hone the skills of her craft and that it was time for her to practice those social skills. And so the woman now finds herself in a Weyr for perhaps the third time in her life. She's sure to be a bit timid, quite embarrassed, and quite a handful. After all....a Harper can't really be so mild and innocent, can she?
