Description
A slight youth with freckles on his nose, Gabrion has warm, walnut-brown eyes and sandy blond hair that sticks up in all directions and flops into his eyes, defying attempts to get it to lie straight. His mannerisms and way of speaking are noticeably effeminate. Though Gabe is 15 turns old, he is quite short for his age at barely 5'1", and his body is slender, almost fragile-looking. He grows stubble faster than he can shave it off, and his face has thinned in recent months, the jawline hard, the lines on his brow severe when he scowls. Even so, when drawn out, he has an engaging smile.

Gabe was born and raised at High Reaches weyr; he has one living older brother (+npc Seldon) and one twin brother, Gevran. Another much older brother, a brownriding weyrling, died in a betweening accident a turn and a half before he was born, and his mother was VERY overprotective of Gabrion and his twin as a result.
Following the example of his other older brother Seldon, Gabe left for an apprenticeship at the Healer Hall in the summer of turn 18. He was there for two and a half years, but didn't fit in well and was mostly unhappy. Near the end of turn 20, he failed his first aid practical exam. Rather than retake it, he decided to leave his apprenticeship, and returned home to High Reaches Weyr a few weeks before Turnover. A few months later he was readmitted to the Healer craft, provisionally, as an apprentice posted to High Reaches Weyr, and has been continuing his studies and working in the infirmary.
Gabrion is obviously and stereotypically gay. Despite that, he's rumored to have a girlfriend. Weird!
