H'kon

Description

The early onset of grey has been most successful in the man's short beard; his more youthful browns still manage to claim the bulk of short-cut hair, except just above a forehead wont to show furrows. Green eyes are softened by the beginnings of crows' feet at their corners, but still stand out against pale skin and a simple, straight nose. His are the callused and scarred hands of a worker, though the marks of punctures, scrapes and cuts are only well visible on the rare occasions when they're held still. He stands shorter than most men, with toned, if not overly broad, shoulders held back in a strict, though not strictly proud, posture.

WYSK

H'kon is from Tillek originally. He doesn't talk about it much unless wheedled, but he doesn't make an effort to keep it secret either.

He was searched at the last minute for Iovniath and Cadejoth's clutch, and impressed to brown Arekoth a few days after his own turnday on Day 18, Month 11, Turn 19.

Arekoth has a bum leg from an accident in weyrlinghood, caused by Arekoth's impatience and H'kon's lack of control. It's not something H'kon is proud of, but he'll speak plainly to it if it comes up.

H'kon has been around the Weyr for a while, but always in the back ground. He's helped with things like repairs to the bowl after meteors, searching for Tillek's heir, and the like, but never in any sort of leadership role. He's a hard worker, but not much of a talker.
