- Daughter of the previous High Reaches Lord Holder, Rynien, Issedi was a dutiful daughter and a well-trained Blood.
- It was arranged that she would marry the much older Lord Aughan of Crom, and though she wasn't thrilled with this, she felt it was her duty.
- At some point she made the acquaintance of the exile, Devaki, though it isn't yet known how this came to be.
- After her father's passing, her brother Braeden was named Lord Holder. He acknowledged the Blood rights of the exiles, and announced Issedi's engagement to Devaki (and the breaking of the promised marriage between High Reaches and Crom).
- In Turn 29, Issedi and Devaki were married, with their first born, Vinien, arriving in Turn 30.
- Not long after the birth of their second child Sealene, it was announced that Braeden was stepping down, and Devaki became Lord Holder, with Issedi becoming Lady Holder.
- Issedi is known as a kind and gentle soul (some less generous souls might term her naive), but she appears to love her family and the Hold and is well regarded by most.
- Their third child, Esiara, was born in Turn 33, and their fourth, Alani (also a girl), was born in Turn 35.
- Issedi was pregnant with their fifth child, and celebrating her 30th Turnday when she was killed by an assailant on day 11, month 13 of Turn 36.
