Description

Long chestnut hair is worn loose, in easy curls that frame Brieli's heart-shaped face and tumble down past her shoulders artfully. The same brown tones lightly warm her skin, color deep chocolate long-lashed eyes, and darken graceful brows. Cupid's-bow lips curve into a smile easily, if sometimes enigmatically. Tall and almost /too/ slender, she dresses to emphasize long legs - usually in tight pants, boots, and stylish tops to match. Her belt carries the tools of her trade: a pouch with scissors, measuring tape and other seamstress-like things.

• Brieli is from Crom Hold, born and bred - and it seems she was more than happy to pick up and start over at the Weyr.
• She's not the best seamstress in the world, nor the most committed to the job, but she does her work and does it without complaint.
• Despite that, she tends to lend a hand if there's work that needs doing - it seems like a reflex; it's what you do.
• Easy, pleasant conversation is her forte, and she's quite interested in learning more about the Weyr.

Background

Brieli's father was a miner, her mother was a seamstress. Her father died in a mining accident - a fairly common occurrence at Crom; her mother raised her until she was about sixteen, when a bad cold worsened one winter. She'd learned most of her trade from her mother already, and picked up a few more skills from helping out where she could - enough skills to make her restless, especially with no ties to keep her near the mines. It wasn't much more than a month after her eighteenth turnday before she left to start over at High Reaches.
