Description

Long dark brown sun-streaked hair loosely frames the oval shape of this young woman's face, carefully braded it hangs well to her hips. Her eyes are almond in shape, and very dark in color with a sense of inquisitiveness about them. High cheekbones and a faintly aquiline nose lend to the sense of wildness as well as the coppery tones in her skin. She is small in frame, but decidedly feminine, with the curves that such implies.

History

Born in Esvay Hold, a minor Nabolese holding located in the Esvay valley, Edyis was the youngest daughter of Holder Cronwell and his wife Edelyn's six children. Edelyn died while Edyis was still young and Cronwell remarried Gretvyn a longtime family friend. The two had three more children, including a set of twins. In turn 33 of Interval 10, during a raid by Rone's men, Edyis father was seriously injured in a fire. He died of his wounds, leaving her stepmother Gretvyn alone to undertake the burden of caring for the family through winter. Edyis accepted search as a way to help ease her stepmother's burden. It wasn't until after the matter of Nabol's succession was settled that her eldest brother Cron took over management of Esvay, requesting Edyis return home. Edyis declined and remained at High Reaches as the assistant records keeper. Turn 34 Month 8, Edyis follows Savannah to Monaco on invitation, where she stays until reassigned, returning to High Reaches Weyr in early in month 5 turn 35 where she has remained ever since.
